Return-to-work (including Spoor 2 and Spoor 3)

If you suffer from impairments after illness and cannot return to your old job, I guide you in finding alternative, suitable and long-term options.

Realistic

I know from experience how much impact health setbacks can have. And how difficult it is to have to change the way you see yourself and the job market. I am familiar with the Dutch Wet Verbetering Poortwachter (Gatekeeper Improvement Act), both from a coaching perspective and from an HR perspective. I also have experience with recruitment.

This helps me to guide you towards results in line with all legal requirements. At the same time, I can offer you additional support you may need to take potentially challenging steps.

Smaller steps

Returning to work involves re-building your work capacity and activity. However, different people move at different paces. Returning to work after a burnout may be more difficult than returning after a broken arm.

It may feel hard, so that just diving in and applying for jobs may be too big a step. That is why we will cut up the process into manageable steps, creating achievable goals.

We’ll make a plan and get to work, doing what is possible for you. We will regularly stop to check your progress, how you are doing, and what else you may need to keep moving forward. In the meantime, we will explore suitable work options together — possibly using stepping stones such as (temporary) volunteer work or work experience placements.

From practice to actions

You will focus on expanding your knowledge and skills by learning and practice — and you can practice that as well.

From self-exploration to looking for vacancies, your cv, showcasing your strengths, communication, and plan-based job applications — your goal is to (be able to) put yourself out there (again), build connections, and explore how you could present yourself.

I will support your process using helpful tests and will provide you with access to current vacancies, career options, and more. I will also leverage my own network to help you. This is how we will work together to create chances for you. Until you find the right fit.

As famous Dutch footballer Johan Cruyff put it: “You have to take a shot, or else you can’t score.”
