Pricing and packages
This page explains all costs associated with career coaching, life coaching and return-to-work guidance at T42 Coaching & Training. These rates apply from January 2025.
- A coaching journey is completely tailored to your needs. Where relevant, we also take on board input from an employer or benefits agency. Apart from that, many aspects of coaching depend on individual circumstances and vary from person to person. Therefore please be advised that the amounts below are intended as a guideline only.
- Coaching is designed to achieve genuine change. That’s why life coaching and career coaching sessions typically last for 90 minutes, allowing for greater focus and intensity, giving new insights more time to take hold. As a result, the coaching becomes more effective.
- On the other hand, return-to-work sessions typically only last for 60 minutes, due to more limited capacity for work and activity. These journeys typically last longer (anywhere from 6 to 12 or 15 months).
- Life coaching and career coaching journeys usually take 6-8 sessions, with an overall duration of 3-4 months. Of course, shorter or longer journeys are also possible. For example, once you complete the orientation phase of career coaching, you can continue by building on this with job marketing.
- The fees for career coaching and return-to-work guidance are higher due to the tailored nature of the training and the access to diagnostic tools, vacancies, and education and job market information. Variable costs relating to tests and questionnaires will only be charged after they have been used.
- Going on a coaching journey means choosing to invest in yourself. However, the costs can be an obstacle for private individuals. This is why private individuals receive a discount, allowing them to choose coaching or mentoring, because everybody deserves a boost from time to time.
- As a private client, you also have the option to pay per session. This prevents the accumulation of large invoices.
- Freelancers and self-employed professionals also enjoy reduced rates. See below for details.
Possible reimbursements and contributions for coaching costs
For private clients, organizations, companies, and self-employed professionals, there are — under certain conditions — various possibilities for reimbursement of or contributions toward the cost of coaching and guidance. To qualify, coaching or guidance must support employability, effectiveness at work, and/or health.

Sample calculations
Once the coaching goal is clear, you can usually make good progress with life coaching in 6-8 sessions. For more complex issues, additional sessions may be required. This is more common in career coaching and return-to-work guidance.
The rate for private clients includes VAT. The rate for business clients excludes VAT. (However, for self-employed professionals the business rate includes VAT.)
